On Site AppCast

Using AppCast, a business with foot traffic can offer a presence on customer's iPhones to provide useful static data. When the customer is on site, they can download an AppCast with useful static info about the business. This is done using a local non-Internet wifi connection that shows web pages containing AppCast links.

What is an AppCast

An AppCast looks like an app icon on your iPhone home screen right next to other iPhone apps but is easier to build and distibute.

1. AppCast behaves like an iPhone app
It launches like an iPhone app and displays simple data or performs simple interaction. Like an iPhone app it can be launched offline or online. When online, it can also retrieve additional cloud-based data. It can be deleted and moved into folders just like an iPhone app.

2. Easy to build and distribute
It is much quicker to build an AppCast than an iPhone app. It is easier to distribute an AppCast on any website like a blog or membership site with access control. Many visitors can download and install the appcast from your website to their iPhone while online. After installation, your AppCast has a presence on their iPhone where your critical static info in immediately available, even offline.
